Huawei Japan Launches LTE 「UE Category4」Multi-Mode Mobile Wi-Fi, Facilitating Commercialization of Japan's eAccess LTE Network

Tokyo, Japan: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider today announced the launch of a multi-band multi-mode Mobile WiFi (mobile Wi-Fi hotspot) – the「Pocket WiFi LTE(GL04P)」, designed to complement the eAccess LTE network.

「Pocket WiFi LTE(GL04P)」is the world first WiFi router can support 「UE Category4」(UE Category4 is a LTE band class can support throughput: 150 Mbps DL / 50 Mbps UL).The product has a battery capacity with 3,000 mAh battery life of up to 9 hours with LTE connection, can be used when connect to a USB cable, and can connect up to 10 devices.

eAccess will start to sell 「Pocket WiFi LTE(GL04P)」on Jul 6.
