Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

REACH ("Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH)") is an European Union (EU) chemicals regulation that entered into force on 1 June 2007, with phased deadlines to 2018.
Huawei Device supports the overall REACH objective of improving the protection of human health and the environment. Huawei Device’s long term policy is to provide products and services which are safe to use and have a low environmental influence throughout their lifecycle. Huawei Device will meet all applicable REACH requirements and is committed to provide our customers with information about the chemicals in our products as requested to fully comply with REACH. Huawei Device is working with industry and government to achieve a workable system that fulfils the goals of REACH and with our suppliers to ensure that Huawei Device products comply with REACH.
Huawei Device and its suppliers have taken the necessary action to meet the requirements of REACH to ensure that Huawei Device Products can continue to be supplied in the EU. This includes, where required by REACH, pre-registration of substances. We will continue to comply with the requirements of REACH including completing all necessary Registration of substances.
Huawei Device will also work with its suppliers to ensure that all SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) are notified to the European Chemicals Agency if necessary to comply with this REACH requirement.
